We’ve all heard time and time again that video is the way to go. Videos capture a wide audience and really give consumers a better understanding of your business. If your business has a YouTube channel, you are in luck, and if your business doesn’t, you still have time.
“According to Forrester Research1, watching a one-minute video has the impact of reading 1.8 million words,” says Amanda Eldridge. With the digital world revolving around short video clips, including video marketing in your efforts is an effective way to utilize your marketing time, energy and money. Eldridge suggests three types of videos that can be incorporated into your overall marketing strategy:
The marketing world revolves around all sorts of campaigns; email, social media, print, etc. But one type of marketing campaign that is equally as important, but relatively new is digital video campaigns. Sharing videos with clients and customers has never been easy. Videos can be seen not just on television, but they can be embedded within an email, they can be shown on your website, they can even be shared via text! Apple Lam states that, “the creation of digital videos remains a relatively young craft.” With that being said, Lam shares a few tips on how to enhance your digital video campaigns incorporating online video:
As if Apple’s announcement of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus wasn’t big enough, they have more up their sleeve! Tomorrow, Apple will be unveiling it’s new devices including the iPad and the Mac. They are expected to announce new versions of both as well as additional details on OS X Yosemite.
Last week, we posted about our excitement for the possible announcement of the iPhone 6. We are still counting down the days until September 9th, but it looks like Samsung is trying to steal Apple’s thunder! Samsung will be releasing a new smartphone design: the Galaxy Alpha, which has been rumored for a while.
Often times people do not realize how our mobile devices can be used as a, “portable television studio,” as John Nemo likes to refer iPhones as. Nemo says, “We now have the ability anytime we want to broadcast our videos to the entire world, for free. The barrier to entry and the cost associated with creating videos has never been lower. So why are so few businesses taking advantage of it?” This is a question our Next Level Marketing Communications team always seems to ask. The task is simple and results are instant!
Last week, Apple announced that the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) Keynote will be live streamed today. The Next Level Marketing Communications team will definitely be tuning in to see what is brewing in the Apple headquarters. John Martellaro shares his views on why this is such a big deal. “First, this is a rare public streaming of the WWDC keynote. That portends something big and of interest to the general public. Next, Apple's Eddy Cue recently said that he thinks Apple has the best product pipeline he's seen in his 25 years at Apple. Next, Tim Cook has been roundly criticized for talking about exciting new product categories, but not delivering anything in 2014. He'll want to fix that and fix it good. Finally, the timing of WWDC and Apple's announced 7-1 stock split is no accident. The stock split means that many more average investors, not just hedge fund managers and institutional investors, will be able to invest in Apple. WWDC should ignite the purchase and value of AAPL.”
We’ve all heard of 3D movies and 3D images, but never 3D tablets. Well, thanks to Google, they will introduce us to the newest technology trend. According to Charlie Osborne, “Google is working on a 7-inch tablet capable of capturing 3D images in high definition. According to the Wall Street Journal, the new mobile device is based on technology developed within Project Tango. Project Tango is part of Google's Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP) group. The project has been developing technology surrounding 3D imagery. Specifically, Project Tango is an Android platform for mobile devices designed to track 3D motion and objects, creating a map in real-time of the environment.”
Apple products are everywhere these days; you’ll see a toddler playing with an iPad at a restaurant, you’ll see a businessman making deals on his iPhone and you’ll even see a college student working out while listening to music on his iPod. iMacs have taken over offices all over the world and iHomes can be found in almost every neighborhood. According to Ethan Smith, Apple will be diving in to a completely new area, “Apple Inc. is preparing to bolster its streaming-music business with a proposed $3.2 billion deal to acquire Beats Electronics LLC, the high-end headphone maker that recently launched the Beats Music subscription service, according to people familiar with the matter.”
There are so many marketing tactics that companies are now leveraging to produce more business, generate more traffic to their website and engage more candidates and clients. However, there is one powerful marketing tool that works like magic and that is videos! This innovative approach captures a large audience in a matter of seconds and for recruiting purposes, has caught on like wildfire! It is a preferred medium of information because thanks to technology, videos can now be seen in the palm of your hands!
