Video marketing has taken off in the last couple of years and thanks to that, we’ve seen social media
We’ve all heard time and time again that video is the way to go. Videos capture a wide audience and really give consumers a better understanding of your business. If your business has a YouTube channel, you are in luck, and if your business doesn’t, you still have time.
“According to Forrester Research1, watching a one-minute video has the impact of reading 1.8 million words,” says Amanda Eldridge. With the digital world revolving around short video clips, including video marketing in your efforts is an effective way to utilize your marketing time, energy and money. Eldridge suggests three types of videos that can be incorporated into your overall marketing strategy:
Time and time again we talk about the importance of adding videos to your marketing strategy. We have had many clients turn to us to create this channel for them and have seen a lot of success with it. The play button has become an international tool that indicates to children, adults and even seniors to touch the triangle to watch a compelling video…at the very least.
Can you believe we are already in the third month of 2015? The first quarter will be over in less than 2 weeks! Time flies when you’re having fun, right? Hopefully some of that fun revolves around your content marketing campaigns! If for any reason it’s not, follow these tips that Sujan Patel shares that will help you get on track:
The marketing world revolves around all sorts of campaigns; email, social media, print, etc. But one type of marketing campaign that is equally as important, but relatively new is digital video campaigns. Sharing videos with clients and customers has never been easy. Videos can be seen not just on television, but they can be embedded within an email, they can be shown on your website, they can even be shared via text! Apple Lam states that, “the creation of digital videos remains a relatively young craft.” With that being said, Lam shares a few tips on how to enhance your digital video campaigns incorporating online video:
Videos are a great tool when it comes to enhancing your market presence. Many companies upload and share their business related videos via Vimeo and YouTube. These sites are great to post commercials, testimonials and tutorials, but they do not necessarily help increase their sales. “As the attention of the consumers are shortening online due to the wide variety of choices that they have, marketers are frantically looking for a medium through which they can break the clutter and disburse their messages in an interesting manner,” shares Muhammad Azam.
Every business owners' goal is to grow their business and generate more revenue. With a robust marketing campaign you can achieve both for any type of organization. “Inbound marketing is the technique used to bring customers to your business rather than approaching them using outbound strategies like postal marketing campaigns or cold calling. Inbound marketing is easily the most effective method of drawing visitors to your business and generating interest in your products and services,” explains Mark Preston.
Content marketing is bigger than it has ever been. Some people think it’s a temporary trend, but content marketing has always been around; it just has evolved over time. Drew Hendricks said, “One factor motivating the trend is YouTube’s continued popularity, with the video-sharing site having been called the second most popular search engine. Each month, YouTube processes more than three million searches,” and also said, “Marketers, realizing the potential audience for video-based social sharing, have begun to find ways to use video as part of their content marketing plan. But creating professional-quality videos isn’t an easy task for an amateur videographer.”
Social media feeds are filled with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge videos. Many of us have poured ice cold water filled in a bucket over our heads, plenty of us have donated money to the charity and hopefully most of us have done both. Robert Tuchman shares, “As a board member for the ALS Greater New York Chapter, I have had a front row seat for the evolution of the now famous #ALSIceBucketChallenge” and how social media can impact a business almost overnight. The IceBucketChallenge, when it’s all said and done, might just be the most viral post of all time. While you can’t always replicate an idea with the same results, there are some important take-aways for all entrepreneurs.”
