Having an inbox inundated with emails is not pleasurable by any means, no one likes. However, when our email inboxes are full, we choose to read the ones we want to first. Lucas Miller shared some interesting statistics revolving around emails:
- 95 percent of people who opt into brand emails find them either somewhat or very useful.
- 72 percent of people prefer companies reaching them through email than any other medium.
- 70 percent of people say they regularly, if not always open emails from preferred brands.
These numbers alone indicate that brands who are utilizing email marketing are experiencing higher return on investments (ROIs). Thanks to the era of smartphones that we are currently living in, a customer can be reached anytime and anywhere in the world, which makes mobile friendly emails a slamdunk!
